Sprint WebCapTel - Placing a Call

  1. Go to www.sprintcaptel.com, click Login to WebCapTel.
  2. Enter your username and password, and then click Sign In.
  3. Enter in the phone number you want to use to place and receive calls. Then click Submit.
  4. Next, type the "Number to Dial" for the person you are calling on the Place Call Screen.
  5. Click Place Call.
  6. Sprint WebCapTel will dial your phone number first. Answer your phone when it rings.  Once you answer, the system will then automatically dial the person you are calling.
  7. Captions of what your caller says will then appear on the computer screen for you to read during the conversation.
 

Sprint WebCapTel - Receiving a Call

  1. Go to www.sprintcaptel.com, click Login to WebCapTel.
  2. Enter your username and password, and then click Sign In.
  3. Enter in the phone number you want to use to place and receive calls. Then click Submit.
  4. You will be at the Place Call screen. On the right side, you will see Waiting for calls at and your phone number. You're ready to receive calls!
    **Do not log out otherwise you will not be able to receive incoming calls**
  5. Have your callers dial 800-933-7219 first and then dial your telephone number and press pound (#). Print Sprint WebCapTel Call Me Cards
  6. When your phone begins ringing, answer it.
  7. Captions of what your caller says will then appear on the computer screen for you to read during the conversation.
